Refund policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Ataraxy. If you're not happy for any reason, we're here to help. 

We have a 28-day return policy, which means you have 28 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label,  an RMA number as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Who Pays for Return Shipping? 

🔹 The Customer Pays for Return Shipping If: You are returning an item for any of the following reasons: 

· Changed your mind or don't like the item. 

· Ordered the wrong size or color. 

· The item doesn't fit. 

· No longer want the product. 

In these cases, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee we will receive your returned item. The return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. 

 

🔹 We Pay for Return Shipping If: The return is a result of our error. This includes: 

· You received a defective or damaged item. 

· You received the wrong item. 

In these cases, we will email you a prepaid return shipping label to send the item back to us at no cost to you. 

 

 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need a different size because you ordered the wrong one, we recommend returning the item for a refund and placing a new order to ensure you secure the correct size before it sells out. 

Sale Items Sale items and items purchased with a promotional discount are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. 


Refunds

If your return is approved, your refund will be processed. A credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment. Please remember that the cost of return shipping (for change-of-mind returns) and the original shipping cost (if your order qualified for free shipping) are non-refundable. 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, refunds will generally be processed within 10 business days. If you have not received your refund within 15 business days of confirmation, please contact us at sales@ataraxyactive.com.au.

 

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
